This is a particular situation, the cbj are injury riddled , the sit with the most games played in the playoff race, so it's a pretty tenuous position, the Rangers will probably sneak in.

I'd like to see them get in but then there are other teams like the Isles and Carolina I'd like to see get in too..

It is a miracle they are where they are, but if you check the schedule it gets a lot tougher starting tonight. Someone has to come up with some offense...

Well, we split the road trip.

Here are the last 12 games:

Pittsburgh H
Nashville H
@Boston
Washington H
@ Toronto
@NJ
@ NYR (Back-to-back)
@Tampa
@ Dallas (Back-to-back)
NYI H
Tampa H
@Carolina (Back-to-Back)

That's 3 Back-to-backs, 7 road games, 3 games with the top two teams in the league, 9 of those games against solid playoff teams, and game 82 will likely be a play-in game for both sides if it has any meaning at all.

What this team has done is fantastic, and Torts should a favorite for the Jack Adams again, especially if they get in the playoffs.

But sadly, I am still pessimistic about their chances. Now if you could put Atkinson and Jones on the ice, then I would be positive they would make it in (if they were on the ice the past two weeks they would be 2nd or 3rd in the division IMO and we would not be having this conversation).

Can the CBJ get to 95 points with that schedule? (Doubt it)
Will 95 points be enough with the teams two points behind them in the WC standings having 3 games in hand on them? (doubt it)

Go CBJ, prove me wrong.
